Amherst Massachusetts Engagement – Sara and Joe

Sara and Joe!!! Ahh! These two! Remember our sweet friends Kait and Adam’s wedding where we literally walked in as strangers and walked out as family!?!? ;) Sara is one of Kait’s AMAZING friends and therefore is family! ;)

When Sara shared the news that she and Joe were engaged, we literally jumped up and down for them! We could not be more excited as they celebrate this AMAZING time in their lives together!

While we were traveling through MA, we made a stop in Amherst to capture their southern hearts in this sweet town they currently call home! ;) This was the first time we met Joe and we can happily say that they definitely found their match! They kept us laughing the whole engagement session! We had so much fun!

Sara and Joe… thank YOU for giving us the opportunity to capture your beautiful love! You two make an AMAZING team together! We are so excited for your wedding and celebrating with you again soon!

The Barn at Gibbet Hill Engagement – Jenna and Jesse

Seeing one of your best friends get engaged is definitely crazy exciting! In fact, when Jenna and Jesse called us to tell us they were getting married, we were in a random grocery store in Bozeman, Montana and I definitely screamed out loud! I am pretty sure every single person in the store turned to look at me like I was crazy! Ryan even made me go outside because I was making a scene! ;) lol. Hearing that your friends are engaged is definitely worth making a scene! ;)

AND hearing the news is only one piece of the excitement! Being right there next to your friends to celebrate their engagement is another! We had SO MUCH FUN photographing their engagement session because it was just one of our little ways that we we could celebrate Jenna and Jesse! ;) The smiles on their faces are beyond happy! Knowing their hearts are happy will forever bring an extra bit of excitement to our hearts!

We cannot wait to be back at The Barn at Gibbet Hill in Massachusetts with Jenna and Jesse next year as we celebrate their marriage!!!! Ahhh! So crazy exciting!!! ;)

Elegant Fall Wedding – MaryKate and Pete

There are so many things about MaryKate and Pete’s wedding that we absolutely LOVE! The tradition, the simple elegance, seeing past Liz and Ryan couples, and sweet sweet love!!!

MaryKate and Pete’s elegant fall wedding was held at the same church MaryKate’s grandparents were married in 67 years ago! How incredible is that? What a special tribute to the generations of love that came before them!!! I can only imagine the smile on their grandparent’s faces as they watched over them that day!

MaryKate and Pete are two of the sweetest people we have ever met! Their simple elegance came through in every way on their wedding day! And we could not have been more honored to capture it! It was such an AMAZING fall day! AND we got to see Samantha and Rameez… one of our couples from 2014! You have no idea how excited we get for weddings when we know we are going to be able to give our previous couples BIG hugs!!! (We get even more excited when they are in the bridal party and Samantha just happened to be the MOH!!! ;) ) SO FUN!!!

MaryKate and Pete… thank you for bringing a big smile to our faces all day long! You are incredibly beautiful inside and out! We wish you many many many years of beautiful love together!

Winery at La Grange Engagement – Ashley & Greg

When Ashley and Greg chose to do their engagement session at the Winery at La Grange in Haymarket, VA, we were so excited! We had never been to the Winery at La Grange before… but when you say VA Winery in the fall, we are there! ;) Especially with these two!

Ashley and Greg are so much fun! I am pretty sure I told them I loved them the first time we chatted! ;) They have an energy that is so uplifting and so contagious in the absolute best way! It is the best when you walk away from an engagement session with more energy than you had walking in!

Meadowlark Gardens Wedding – Laura & Michael

Laura and Michael’s Meadowlark Gardens Wedding in Vienna, VA was so full of love and emotion! That is our favorite kind of wedding day!

Laura and Michael had built a lot of time into their wedding day to make sure they had time to feel the emotions and experience the day without rushing and feeling stressed. As Laura was getting ready, she had time to be. She had time to take a deep breath with her dad and sit on the bed and chat. She had time to feel all of the feelings and even cry a little too! ;)

It is so refreshing and awe-inspiring for me to witness the moment a dad sees his daughter for the first time on her wedding day! It always makes me emotional especially when the dad takes the moment to soak it all in! Laura and her dad had a special connection and it was absolutely beautiful to witness!

Laura and Michael are surrounded by so much love in their lives! It is beautiful! We could not be more excited to have been able to capture their special day that starts the rest of their lives together! Laura and Michael- Congratulations!!! We wish you endless years of those happy smiles and love together!!!
