We just finished editing Katie and Danny’s Chesapeake Bay Engagement Session and literally could not wait to share them! (I had planned to blog them on Monday… but HAPPY WEEKEND to you! You get to see them now! ;) )!
These photos bring such a HUGE smile to our faces! It could be the beautiful scenery at Terrapin Beach Park on the Eastern Shore, the super fun bikes, or the beach and the water… you name it, all of those things make our hearts smile! But the biggest thing that makes us smile about this engagement session is the beautiful happiness that radiates from Katie and Danny!!!! They are happy and THAT makes us happy!
We hope Katie and Danny’s engagement session makes you smile as big as it makes us smile! ;) Have an AMAZING weekend friends!
Stephanie and Greg’s Baywood Greens wedding is one that we will remember forever! We drove over to the Eastern Shore, arriving early to scope out Baywood Greens and my jaw hit the ground. I literally felt like we were in Disney World or as one Instagram commenter said, Dr. Seuss Land! The landscaping was absolutely incredible. We have never seen a golf course full of as much beauty as we did at Baywood Greens.
And then Stephanie and Greg just added to it! I picked my jaw up off the ground and had the biggest smile on my face the rest of the day! The weather was gorgeous, we got to hang out with the Cully family again, and meet the Bain Family! SO MUCH FUN!
Stephanie and Greg- we are so incredibly excited for you! Enjoy every single minute of your honeymoon together in Hawaii!!! Ahhh! Can’t wait to share all of your photos with you when you return! Thanks so much for the opportunity to capture your AMAZING day!
Thank you so incredibly much to everyone who helped make Stephanie and Greg’s day so special… most especially Natalia and Katie from Baywood! That is another reason the smile never left our faces that day! They were so incredibly helpful and absolutely delightful to be around! The team at Baywood was above and beyond AMAZING! ;)
Starting this December with a trip to Malawi, Africa to help build a school, we are planning a year-long Adventure to explore all 50 states and 9 different countries.
Our goal is to learn what AMAZING marriages look like in different cities, states, countries, and cultures. Along the way, we will document our journey and what we learn from each couple, to share with as many people as possible! We will be “trading in” our house in Baltimore to live in a small RV. The RV will take us through the contiguous United States and Canada with excursions outside the RV to Hawaii, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, St. Lucia, and Africa!
Ahh… you guys. Katie and Travis are so near and dear to our hearts! They met on the Freshmen Hall where I was the RA at Bucknell University! Ryan and I watched their love blossom right before our eyes! ;) Ten years later…after years of travel and school and work all over the world…they tied the knot and said I Do! And we were the blessed ones to be able to capture it! What an honor!
Katie and Travis’ Inner Harbor Baltimore wedding was so much fun! I am pretty sure I can speak for every single person there- it was one happy celebration! They filled their day with so many meaningful details… Katie’s earrings were the earrings her dad gave to her mom on their wedding day. Her “party” dress was actually made from her mom’s wedding gown! (SO AWESOME!) Their cake topper was the same cake topper Katie’s parents used for their wedding! and the list goes on and on. Those details were just a small sampling of the love that surrounds them!
It was such an honor to see their AMAZING smiles and witness the happiness in their hearts to finally be married! ;) Even when Deacon Mark announced them as Mr. and Mrs. Smith instead of Mr. and Mrs. White… ;) they laughed and said it was the best thing that could have happened! ;) They are AMAZING like that! ;)
YAY for HUGE smiles, lots of laughs, emotional tears, and happiness all around! Katie and Travis, we could not be happier for you! SO much love now and forever!!!! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith I mean, Mr. and Mrs. White! ;) Love you guys!
Huge thanks to all of the wedding professionals who helped make Katie and Travis’ wedding celebration so magical!
A few weeks ago we received a package we had not been expecting! We opened the package and it was a handful of The Knot Magazine that featured Laura and Richie’sBrittland Estates wedding! SO EXCITING! We knew it was going to be featured, but wasn’t quite sure of the release date! Let’s just say it was an awesome surprise and so much fun to have it in our hands!
The next day, we received another package we had not been expecting! We opened the package and it was a handful of Inspire Weddings & Marriage! Ohh my goodness! This one we had been anticipating so much because we were featured as Contributors!!! We wrote an article for the magazine! How crazy is that?!?! Not only did they feature the article, but it was illustrated with Jessie and Mike’s engagement session! What an incredibly special honor! The extra exciting thing is that we will be contributing to their magazine on a regular basis! SO crazy exciting! Their editors and team have such a beautiful mission to help inspire AMAZING marriages and we are so excited to be a part of their efforts! Go get this magazine friends… married or not! ;)
And then the next day… crazy week, my friends… we received another package we had definitely not been expecting! We opened the package and it was The Knot (NATIONAL MAGAZINE!) Eeeek! Months ago we had been contacted by one of their editors asking us if they could use one of the images from Lisa and Matt’s wedding at the Peabody Library. Of course, honored, we said yes! But to be completely honest, the lead time for print publications is so long (months!) and so much can change in that time, that we never fully believe it is happening until we have the magazines in our hands! ;) Well, we have them in our hands and it is real! ;) The picture is pretty small… lol… but one of our images is featured in a national magazine! What an honor!
That wraps up our crazy week of mail! ;) But definitely doesn’t wrap up all of the excitement and gratitude that is in our hearts when we see our images and our couples spreading their love around the world! Here are a few other recent publications featuring Liz and Ryan photography! ;)
