It always makes our hearts sing when we walk away from a wedding and know without a doubt the day was exactly how the bride and groom dreamed it to be. From the very beginning, Camila and Peter described their vision of their wedding day as being very classic. They dreamed it to be very timeless and traditional. They were including traditions from Camila’s home country of Columbia along with Peter’s family’s traditions from here in the states.
Knowing Camila and Peter’s dream vision ahead of time had Ryan and I super excited to see their vision through the photos as well! We always strive to keep a very timeless approach to our photos, but Camila and Peter allowed us to challenge ourselves to take it even further! We could not be more excited to share their photos and know that in 50 years Camila and Peter will be sharing them with their grandchildren as if it were yesterday!
Camila and Peter, thank you for giving us the opportunity to capture your beautiful love story! We had a blast celebrating with you and watching your classic elegance shine through in every way! Congratulations and we wish you nothing but the very best now and for many years to come!
Huge thanks to everyone who played a roll in Camila and Peter’s special day!
We were lucky enough to spend our 7 year wedding anniversary with Lauren and David last week photographing their Annapolis Engagement Session. I say lucky enough because these two have absolutely beautiful hearts! We showed up at their door and they handed us an Anniversary bottle of wine! How incredibly sweet is that?!? But even above and beyond that, they shared their AMAZING love with us and we could not be more grateful!
We had so much fun with Lauren and David exploring Quiet Waters Park and the exact location where David proposed in the freezing cold this past winter! ;) And then we made our way to the romantic streets of downtown Annapolis! Seriously, Lauren and David brought the romance to the streets! How AMAZING did Lauren and David look?!? And the added touch of the flowers and champagne!?! SO AMAZING!
Lauren and David- thank you for planning such an AMAZING evening out! We had so much fun strolling through the park and the Annapolis city streets with you! We could not be more grateful for the love that you surrounded us with on our Anniversary! ;) Can’t wait to see you again soon!
It is not often that we get to photograph a wedding right in our “backyard.” We are often traveling all over the place for weddings (which we absolutely love to do!). But this time, our car got a little break. In fact, when we parked for the reception, we parked in the exact spot we normally do near our home. We walked home from the reception. ;) That is pretty magical when I think about it! ;)
Kim and Jay had the most beautiful day to celebrate their Baltimore Inner Harbor Wedding at Tabrizi’s! The blue sky and puffy white clouds made the waterfront views that much more gorgeous! It reminded me of the weather we had on our wedding day that was 7 years ago on the same weekend! ;)
But the weather wasn’t the only thing that took me back to our wedding day as we were photographing. The emotions of excitement and pure happiness on Kim and Jay’s faces were so visible ALL DAY! Seriously, that happy glow never once left their faces… especially after they were officially married! What a happy day!
Kim and Jay, we absolutely loved capturing your wedding day! Thank you for the visible reminder of that pure joy and excitement! We are so happy for you two! We wish you many many many years of that pure joy and excitement! ;)
Huge Thanks to everyone who played a roll in helping to make Kim and Jay’s day so special!
From Maid of Honor & wedding guest to Kevin’s Jefferson Memorial Proposal to their Old Town Alexandria engagement session to their Washington DC wedding… and soon to be Sister and Brother In Law at Stephanie and Greg’s upcoming wedding… these two are pretty super special in our hearts! As we prepared to photograph Jen and Kevin’s Washington DC wedding, we took a moment to reflect on all of the happiness we have had the honor to capture in their lives! What an incredible blessing that has been to us!
We have absolutely loved witnessing and documenting Jen and Kevin’s love story! They light up in such an incredible way when they are around each other and they sure know how to fill a room with smiles! ;)… (Jen, that was not meant to be a dentist pun, but it came out and I kind of love it! ;) )!!!
We could not be more excited to share Jen and Kevin’s wedding day with you! It was classy and elegant and full of fun! We spent the day playing with them in DC… seriously we strolled along M Street in Georgetown, walked through the National Mall with thousands of kids wishing Jen and Kevin the best (SO HAPPY! ;) ), wandered into the Subway for a unique wedding day experience that is certainly unforgettable, journeyed down to the Capitol for some epic night time photos, and then finished off the evening with some bowling at Pinstripe! YES, Jen and Kevin planned their day to do exactly what they wanted to do on their wedding day and they made it happen! ;) We could not be more happy for them!
Jen and Kevin, thank you for sharing your love with us! We are so honored to have been there to capture so many pieces of your love story! Your love has grown in front of our eyes and we can’t wait to celebrate with you as it continues to grow! You two are AMAZING and hold an incredibly special place in our hearts! Congratulations friends!
Huge huge huge thanks to everyone who played a roll in making Jen and Kevin’s day everything they dreamed it to be!
St. Michaels is one of our all time favorite places… and we are always up for an Eastern Shore adventure! Seriously, the Eastern Shore steals a piece of our hearts every time we are there! ;) But this time… this visit to the Eastern Shore was extra special. This trip we were surrounded by friends and we just happened to be photographing their engagement session at the same time! ;)
We met Marianne and Josh last May during Kait and Adam’s wedding celebration! You may remember us raving about the Fun House and how we immediately felt like family with these guys!?! Well Marianne just happens to be the super fun sister of Kait! So basically that means she is like a sister to us too! And Josh… we go way back! Way back to some super fun times in that fun house! ;) We like to call him family too! ;)
We could not be more excited to celebrate with “the family” again this year! ;) Marianne and Josh, thanks for such a fun St. Michaels Engagement Session! We love you guys!
