Okay- the road trip! So exciting! We are on a mission to document and share AMAZING real couple’s stories in an effort to inspire couples to live a more AMAZING life together! The AMAZING Life Together Road Trip will be ongoing throughout the year in between our busy wedding season and we plan to visit cities all over the United States (and maybe even beyond! ;) )! Our first leg of the journey will be taking us to Salt Lake City (and of course Park City too), San Francisco, LA, San Diego, and Phoenix… and everywhere in between! If you are in those areas and/or you know of an AMAZING couple in those areas, send us a note! ;) We would LOVE to hear from you!!
Friends, we are so incredibly excited to have the opportunity to be out and about meeting AMAZING couples, chatting about love, learning from the challenges they have faced along the way, and sharing these AMAZING stories with you all over at amazinglifetogether.com! It is our dream to touch the lives of couples all over the world and hopefully touch their hearts in a special way! Together, with your help, we do believe we can lower the divorce rate! ;) We know it is quite audacious, but the real truth is that we would love for the divorce rate to be zero! ;) We have a lot of work to do, but we definitely believe we all have a lot of love to share… and now is a better time than ever to start spreading that love all around! ;)

What an exciting morning! You all have pretty much blown our minds over here! It was so much fun to see you all get so excited for the Anniversary Session Giveaway photo contest on Facebook! We had over 2,000 votes come in and we could not be more excited to announce the winners!!! But first… a super huge THANK YOU to every single person who took the time to vote and an even huger (haha) THANK YOU to all of our AMAZING couples for just being so AMAZING!
Last night Ryan made an excel sheet to make sure we calculated the number of entries correctly (of course, because that is what engineers do! ;) ), and then we utilized a random number generator on-line to tell us that Jill and Tripp are the big winners of the Anniversary session!!! YAYAYAYAY!! So excited for them! Jill and Tripp are getting married in April- so this will be a super fun pre-wedding surprise for them! ;) YAY!
Thanks again to everyone who voted and even more importantly to everyone who got just as excited as we did about giving away the photo session!!! That made our hearts smile! We are so grateful for you all! Happy Monday!
Ohh friends, we have some Old Town Alexandria Engagement Session goodness to share with you before you embark on this fabulous weekend! ;) We have been crazy busy over here getting everything together for the first journey of the AMAZING Life Together Road Trip! ;) So much excitement, so much planning, so much love! It is all magical… I am just not sure where we will be sleeping some nights while we are out and about- but everything will fall into place for sure!! ;) We are so excited about the opportunity to connect with so many AMAZING people… please check out the details over at AMAZING Life Together and be sure to nominate all of the AMAZING couples in your life!!
In the meantime, we are so excited because we get to introduce you to the AMAZING Molly and Joe! Molly and Joe just bought a new home together… how exciting, right?!?! They even invited us over before they officially moved in! What an honor! ;) It was so cool to see their new place and think about what an exciting adventure they are on together! We captured some photos in and around their home. It is so crazy to freeze this moment in their lives when they are making a big move, planning their wedding, and doing everything else that comes with both of those big life changes… you know, a bachelor and bachelorette party, furniture shopping, and so much more!
It is so cool to think that in a few years down the road when they are all settled into their home and lives together, they will be able to look back at that moment and remember when it all began! ;) We are so excited to share these photos with you all! Molly and Joe- thanks for such a fun afternoon in Old Town Alexandria! We loved it!
You never know who you are going to meet in line while standing out in the freezing cold waiting to have a book signed by John and Sherry of Young House Love! ;) If you follow along with us on Instagram (and if not, please do! ;) ), you know that we enjoy going to meet our favorite authors and AMAZING people who are doing incredible things in the world! Whether it be Gretchen Rubin, Alexis Ohanian, Chris Guillebeau or John and Sherry, we have had some AMAZING adventures getting to know these friends. (I say friends, but for full disclosure, they may not even remember us! ;) haha!)
Last year we found ourselves among thousands of people wrapped around a few Washington DC blocks in the freezing cold. We had no idea what we were in for, but it was definitely a fun adventure that is for sure! We started chatting with these two sweet girls who were just as excited about the fun adventure! A few months later, we received an email from Becca saying her friends met us in line at the Young House Love book signing! ;) SO MUCH FUN!
Becca got married in Arkansas in December and was making a big move to Atlanta! Before heading out, she wanted to make sure she captured some gorgeous Bridal portraits in DC! Becca spent a lot of time working on Capitol Hill and this was the perfect way to remember this fun time in her life! We were so excited to capture Becca’s Washington DC Bridal Portrait Session on Capitol Hill! Thanks so much to Becca (and her sister Ruthie!) for braving the chilly temps and having fun with us on The Hill!
We have been doing quite a bit of reflecting over the past few weeks and found ourselves feeling incredibly blessed to be surrounded by the love and the happiness of our couples! In 2013 we photographed a lot of love- that is for sure! ;) And we want to celebrate that love!
We have decided to host our 2nd Annual Facebook Photo Contest! This year it will include a FREE Anniversary Session Giveaway to one of our AMAZING couples that we photographed in 2013! Voting opens at 9:00 AM EST Friday, January 10th (TODAY!)!! You are allowed to vote 1 time per day per Facebook user! So definitely go vote! ;)
For every vote the couple receives on their photo by 11:59 p.m. EST on Saturday, January 18th, they will get 1 entry into the drawing for the Anniversary Session!
